Is RSS Going to Replace Bookmarks?

I remember  when I first started sufring the web. There were lots of website whit a button or a link that said “Add me to your favorites” or something like that. Now, however, more and more websites replace that “Add me to your favorites” for a “Subscrite to our RSS feed”. RSS feds present some advantages over conventional boockmarks. For example, you don’t have to visit every website in your bookmarks to se wheter they have new articles or not because RSS feeds “let you know” when a certine website has been actualized. That makes me think, Is RSS going to replace Bookmarks?

Recuerdo que cuando empece a surfear la web. Había muchos sitios con un botón o link que decía “Agregame a tus Favoritos” o algo por el estilo. Sin embargo, ahora mas y mas sitio reemplazan ese “Agregame a tus Favoritos” por un “Subscribete a nuestro RSS”. RSS presenta muchas ventajas sobre los bookmarks convencionales. Por ejemplo, puedes saber cuando un sitio ha sido actualizado sin necesidad de estarlo visitando.Eso me hizo pensar, RSS va a remplazar Bookmarks?
